Author Interview with Dr. Kirti Moholkar

Dr. Kirti Moholkar’s passion for helping others shines through in his work to improve the health and wellness of entrepreneurs, professionals and health care workers. He’s a surgeon, an NHS Clinical Entrepreneur, and a wellness coach with extensive knowledge helping people better their lives. Through writing, he hopes to reach more people around the globe and offer them powerful tools to take their physical and mental health into their own hands. Empowering others is a lifelong goal and one he’s proud to be living every day. Dr. Moholkar currently resides in Birmingham in the UK and is married to his beloved wife. They have two accomplished children they’re fiercely proud of. In his downtime, he loves traveling and listening to music. Dr. Moholkar hopes that his books, software, and work will help people live better, healthier, fuller, and happier lives; one day at a time.

Medical articles blogs and now the book. 3 in preparation
What are you most proud of in your personal life?

Being aware of my awareness, empathy, resilience and calm

How did you develop your writing?

I have a voracious appetite for reading and developed the skill through it

What is hardest – getting published, writing or marketing? 

Marketing

What marketing works for you? 

Word of mouth as I am then not a salesman, which I hate being

Mum and dad in India. Lovely and beautiful wife with me and 2 children 23 and 24. Real estate consultant in Dubai and Doctor in the UK

How do you write – lap top, pen, paper, in bed, at a desk? 

Laptop

How much sleep do you need to be your best? 

7-8 hours 10-5 am

Is there anyone you’d like to acknowledge and thank for their support? 

Wife, parents, kids and the world

Every writer has their own idea of what a successful career in writing is, what does success in writing look like to you? 

I like to teach and educate so if I was to educate millions and billions of people, that would really sound nice

Tell us about your new book? Why did you write it?  

I have always been an empathetic and caring guy. I have helped colleagues prevent burnout and thought of putting my thoughts to writing and have also developed a course to teach methods to prevent burnout and career satisfaction

When you are not writing, how do you like to relax? 

Meditate, music. cycle

What do you hope people will take away from your writing? How will your words make them feel?

Calm, happy that they could read my content and educate themselves from my thoughts
