GOOD book trailers may possibly encourage a reader to purchase/download a book. BUT most book trailers are horrible: cheesy, schmaltzy, overblown, ridiculous morasses of bad music and over-the-top statements while showing laughable poses and “acting” by people imitating the book’s characters, usually in some romantic situation; or, worse: someone reads the book’s blurb aloud (WHY???) in some imitation of the MOVIE GUY’s voice.
PLEASE stop making terrible book trailers. You’re embarrassing yourselves.
