How To Mute The Western “Cultural Background Noise” With Far East Mentality?

Leadership By Virtue

International book Promotion is honoured to work with Jaro Berce in promoting his book “Leadership By Virtue”. If you have watched movies like Karate Kid, you will know what Chinese martial arts would look like and what it takes to be a martial artist. We know martial art is a form of self-protection but what if we say it is also connected with corporate skills?

If you think the vast differences in the two cultures; the West and the East would clash badly and is not acceptable to adapt cross-cultural mentality at work place, Jaro has something to share with you.

He has done it successfully and in this book, he provides deep insights to leadership skills according to Far East philosophy.

We are organising Book Trailer Release event on 5th of January for this book and Jaro is giving free copies of his book (eBook) during this event in exchange for a review. Please contact us if you are interested.

An interview with Jaro Berce

Where are you from?

I live in a town situated northern to Rome and western to Wien. Its name is Ljubljana.

 Describe yourself in five words

Innovative, self-motivated, persuasive, visionary, out-of-the-box thinker

 What scares you the most?

The amount of ignorance in the world

 What makes you happiest?

Life, nature and my family

What else do you do, other than write?

I teach and practice martial arts

What other jobs have you had in your life?

As a student I drove a taxi, later on I have been entrepreneur, a researcher, a supervisory board chairman, a management consultant, I lead teams and projects, and more.

Why do you write?

Simply, to share! Knowledge is one of the rarest goods which, when shared, you don’t have less of it.

What do you write about?

About different approaches to common practices, the ones that actually work.

What writing are you most proud of?

Everything I’ve written so far …

Do you have a specific writing style?

Yes, I believe so, as my words were recognized under the article signed by a friend reporter. In my book I’ve complemented it with a mixture of western and eastern (Chinese) writing styles

What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?

The target is not at the end of the way—the target is the Way itself!

How long does it take to write a book? (if you’ve written one -published or non)

Mine took quite a while when I was still framing it, but when started the words flew.

What is hardest – getting published, writing or marketing?

MARKETING !!!

Do you have suggestions on how to become a better writer?

Try and make mistakes … but never cease trying.

Tell us about your new book? Why did you write it?

Years ago I was asked by a friend of mine: “Could you please enlighten me in understanding how to lead a multi-cultural team.  At the time I had no idea to offer. It initiated a long period of researches at the end of which I published the book “Leadership by Virtue”.

What do you think makes a good story?

The blurred mix of reality and an achievable fiction.

What does your family think of your writing?

They are my toughest audience, but they support me.

Do you have anything specific you’d like to tell the readers?

Try to read my book with a calm mind and an open heart

Is there anyone you’d like to acknowledge and thank for their support?

Definitively it is my wife Aleksandra. She is often my sparring partner when challenging my ideas, polishing my thoughts into understandable phrases.

We would like to extend our heartiest gratitude to author Jaro Berce for his willingness to be interviewed by our team.

to embrace the power within. Whether it’s climbing the pyramids in the Yucatan or in Bosnia, camping and meditating in the
shadow of the majestic Mt. Shasta, whitewater rafting through the Grand Canyon, or a mystical experience with a mirror and candle late at night or inside a metaphysical book store, sacred experiences are all about us. “Sacred Journeys & Visions Quests” is all about how to tap into that empowering perspective.
